These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Laffly ("Laffly," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Laffly mobile application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Laffly. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into these Terms.
Laffly lets you create and share content, including posts, photos, comments, and direct messages ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant Laffly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you post and for ensuring you have the rights to share it.
Laffly has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to post, share, or transmit content, or engage in conduct, that:
Laffly provides tools to keep the community safe. You can report posts, comments, or accounts, and you can block any user, which hides their content from you and prevents them from messaging you. We review reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior and aim to act on them—including removing content and removing the users who provided it—within 24 hours.
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove content, limit visibility, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine harm the community or the Service. We may also cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
Direct messages are private between participants, but the standards in these Terms still apply. Do not use messaging to harass, threaten, spam, or send prohibited content. You may block any user to stop receiving their messages.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may permanently delete your account and associated data from within the app under Settings → Delete account.
The Service itself, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Laffly and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that User Content is accurate or appropriate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laffly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold Laffly harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Laffly is based, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
